1. Definitions
In these Terms of Service (the “Terms”):
- InterBudget, we, our and us mean the operator of the website available at https://www.interbudget.co.uk (the “Site”).
- Site means the website located at https://www.interbudget.co.uk and any related domains, subdomains, pages, features, content and services made available through it.
- Services means the functionalities, tools, information and other services provided by InterBudget through the Site.
- User, you and your mean any person or entity that accesses or uses the Site or Services.
- Content means text, data, information, graphics, interfaces, code, features, software, designs, compilations, and all other materials on or provided through the Site.
- User Content means any content uploaded, submitted, posted, or otherwise provided by a User to or through the Site.
- Consumer means an individual acting for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside that individual’s trade, business, craft or profession.

2. Acceptance of the Terms
By accessing or using the Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Site or Services. You represent and warrant that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation and that you accept these Terms on its behalf.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
The Site is intended for Users aged 18 years or older. If any part of the Services requires registration or the creation of an account, you must provide accurate, current and complete information and keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use or security breach.
4. Permitted Use of the Site and Services
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, InterBudget grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Site and Services for your personal or internal business use.
The information on the Site is provided for general information only. Unless expressly stated, nothing on the Site constitutes financial, investment, tax, legal or other professional advice, and should not be relied upon as such. You should obtain professional or specialist advice before taking, or refraining from, any action on the basis of the Content.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You must not, and must not allow others to:
- Use the Site or Services in any unlawful manner or in breach of these Terms or applicable law.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, publicly display, sell, licence, or otherwise exploit the Site, Services or Content except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software on the Site except to the extent permitted by law.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site, including by introducing viruses, malware, or harmful code, or by overloading, flooding, spamming or mail-bombing.
- Access the Site using any automated means (including robots, spiders, or scrapers) other than standard web browsers, except with our prior written consent.
- Bypass or attempt to bypass any access or use restrictions, or security or authentication measures.
- Use the Site to transmit or publish unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or otherwise objectionable material, or material that violates any third-party rights.
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
- Collect or harvest information about other Users without their consent and without complying with applicable data protection law.
6. Intellectual Property
The Site, Services and all Content are owned by or licensed to InterBudget and are protected by copyright, database rights, trade marks and other intellectual property and proprietary rights. Except as expressly permitted in these Terms, you have no right, title or interest in or to the Site, Services or Content.
You may make a temporary, incidental copy of Content as is necessary for viewing the Site in your web browser and you may print or download extracts for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the Content, remove any proprietary notices, or use the Content in a manner that is misleading or suggests endorsement by InterBudget.
All trade names, logos and trade marks displayed on the Site are the property of their respective owners. No licence to use any trade mark is granted by these Terms.
7. User Content
Where the Site allows you to submit User Content:
- You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant InterBudget a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, perform, adapt, translate, and otherwise use your User Content as necessary to operate, provide, improve, protect and promote the Site and Services.
- You warrant that your User Content: (a) is your own or you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit it; (b) does not infringe any third-party rights; and (c) complies with these Terms and applicable law.
- InterBudget does not undertake to pre-screen User Content but may remove or disable access to any User Content at its discretion, including where it appears to breach these Terms or applicable law.
- If you believe Content on the Site infringes your rights or is unlawful, you may notify us using the contact details published on the Site, providing sufficient information to identify the material and explain the basis of your concern. We may request additional information to process your notice.
8. Third-Party Services and Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, services, or resources. InterBudget does not endorse and is not responsible for third-party content, products, services or practices. Your use of third-party sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.
9. Availability, Accuracy and Changes to the Site
We aim to ensure that the Site and Services are available and accurate; however, they are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Site, Services or Content will be uninterrupted, error-free, up to date, or free from defects, viruses or other harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw, discontinue, change or update all or any part of the Site or Services without notice where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, improvements, legal or security reasons.
10. Warranties and Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InterBudget disclaims all warranties, representations and conditions, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.
Without limiting the foregoing, InterBudget does not warrant that the Content is accurate, complete or current, and assumes no responsibility for any reliance placed on it. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Subject to the preceding paragraph and to the extent permitted by law:
- InterBudget will not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, punitive or consequential losses; loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts, goodwill, reputation, anticipated savings or data; or business interruption, in each case whether direct or indirect.
- InterBudget’s total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Site, Services or these Terms, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, shall be limited to £100.
If you are a Consumer, the limitations in this section apply only to the extent permitted by law. Your statutory rights are not affected.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless InterBudget from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Site or Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your infringement of any rights of another person or entity.
13. Personal Data and Privacy
InterBudget acts as a data controller for the personal data it processes in connection with the Site and Services. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, based on one or more lawful bases such as consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests (for example, ensuring the security and proper functioning of the Site and improving the Services).
We collect and process personal data such as identifiers, contact details, technical data (including IP address, device and browser type), usage data, and communications you send to us. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, proportionate to the risks.
You have rights over your personal data, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. 15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or Services, or remove any User Content, at any time where reasonably necessary, including if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security, integrity or proper operation of the Site. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will cease. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections on intellectual property, warranties and disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, personal data, and applicable law and jurisdiction.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on the Site, unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Site and Services.
17. Communication and Notices

Notices are deemed received when posted on the Site or, if sent by email, when sent, provided no delivery failure notification is received.
18. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a business User, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site.
If you are a Consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom where you live. Mandatory consumer protections under your local law remain unaffected.
19. Miscellaneous
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision shall be applied to the extent enforceable and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver: A failure or delay by InterBudget to exercise any right or remedy under these Terms shall not be a waiver of that or any other right or remedy.
- Assignment: You may not assign, transfer or subcontract any of your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign or transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms at any time.
- Entire agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and InterBudget in relation to the Site and Services, and supersede any prior understandings or agreements on that subject.
- Force majeure: We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms to the extent caused by events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
